Australian Biotechnology Park Pty Ltd is establishing a centre of excellence for innovative and emerging biotechnology companies, as well as established relevant enterprises, to group together in an invigorating “industry cluster” of like-minded businesses.
We have access to Federal and State Government funding to assist in such co-location and have ensured that the first building will comprise a central office to ensure that interested enterprises will receive access to all funding they might be entitled to, as well as a multi-purpose R & D laboratory for them to create and develop new ideas.
We have chosen the Bunbury area of Western Australia to be the focal point of our Biotechnology Park, since it is in close proximity to the richly endowed agricultural region of Australia, a major port, and the City of Bunbury with its entire well-developed educational, transport, cultural, social and housing infrastructure.
The Park will have the most modern technological facilities and become a prime site to create new enterprises or to relocate to, due to its location and culture of research, co-operation and excellence.
All companies that have expressed an interest to co-locate at the Park, or others who wish to enquire about space and facilities will be assured by the Park Management that their Intellectual Property (IP) will be protected through rigorous non-disclosure principles, despite the aim to create a realm of harmonious sharing of knowledge culture within the Park.
Our clients will include universities and research institutes, newly start-up companies in the agri-biotechnology arena and established multinational corporations looking to develop their products using the richness of this productive region of Australia, with all of its commercial and isolation advantages.
