Features

In the Agri-Biotechnology Park, prospective companies would be provided land packages of various sizes to suit each company. They will also be assisted in achieving access to appropriate State and Federal government grants.
We are working to establish linkages with leading research and development organizations to create common facilities such as an analytical laboratory, quality control and certification facilities.
On completion, the park would continue to be managed by Australian Biotechnology Park Pty Ltd.
The Agri-Biotechnology Park has been designed to broadly provide industry cluster space for all kinds of activities that would directly or indirectly help companies to produce value added agricultural based products for domestic and export markets in areas such as:
• Animal sourced biomaterial extraction and purification
• Biopharmaceutical manufacture
• Auxiliary agricultural bio-technology developments
• Companies involved in animal or plant R&D
• Universities and colleges of TAFE

In the Agri-Biotechnology Park, all agriculture related activities would also generate demand for many other services such as:
• Packaging material suppliers
• Legal, Accounting, Medical and other professional services
• Equipment supply, spares, tools and maintenance
• Water treatment, handling and management
• Transport, couriers & communications services
• Restaurants and Canteens, a meeting/convention centre
• Provisions and storage facilities
• Buildings, fabrication and maintenance

The company has sufficient capital to complete the preliminary Stage 1 development. Once the land has been secured the company will finalised the capital requirements for the Stage 1 development. The company will then raise the necessary capital and finalise the regional Partnership Grant with the Federal Government.

It is proposed that the Agri-Biotechnology Park will offer a wide range of features, which will encourage relevant industries to co-locate to:

• A premium address for innovative R&D based organizations to locate, surrounded by a knowledge base of industry, academics and research organizations.
• Access to support services.
• A vibrant research and business incubation community where new ideas and collaborative ventures will be encouraged and facilitated.
• A range of sites and building opportunities.
• Close links between industry, research, academics and government.
• Access to central computer, laboratory and research facilities.
• State of the art communications links for enhanced data, voice and image transmission.
• Ample parking.
• Landscaped parkland setting with feature native vegetation.
• A common centre for seminars, conferences, workshops, meetings.
• Tenant/Owner involvement in regular events, initiatives, strategic linkage opportunities, outgoing and incoming delegations.
